Ok, so......did you ever hear that the best ideas are "stolen" not thought of yourself? Well, here you go. I'm a relatively new blogger and I am copying Manic's contest - well, sort of. Unfortunately, I will not be giving away a prize for the most "profound" comment. I just want to see what you have to say. From what I gather about "blogging," it is a way to say what is on your mind without having to really identify yourself....
So, here are your two options (feel free to answer one or both!)
From my latter blog regarding American Idol......
Who do you idolize? And why??
OR
Who do you envy? And why?
(Go ahead and get it off your chest!)

American Idol Idiots!
What entices someone to check out a blog? How come some bloggers have lots of readers? Do you think that what people write about (when they are describing their lives, daily activities, etc.) the truth or is it all fiction? I think people just want to seem more interesting than they really are. Most people don't have that "it" factor that they describe on American Idol. BTW, have any of you been watching it? All the guys pretty much suck except for the "crooner guy" with the kind of mohawk hair - I think his name is Blake. And the Justin Timberlake guy. No one else really stands out. I will be watching for the girls tonight. Did you see the preview where they are all dancing around. First of all, not so many really attractive ones, except for Antanella, she'll at least get a modeling contract out of this if she can't sing. Then there is one really OBNOXIOUS girl, don't know her name, she dancing around like Flav-A-Flav (and she is caucasian). It is over the top obnoxious!! Paula really needs a stylist and a new "do." I was really hoping the Jack Osborne lookalike did well, he didn't. Anyway, I really am not a huge fan, I usually watch the first episode or two when they have all the really sucky people, it is funny! But, I think I got sucked in this time, now I'm just curious. Thank God for TIVO though, I can't sit through watching Ryan (shortstuff) Seacrest try and act cool. If he can make it to stardom, anyone can. That is all for now.

I'm out - she's in!
Ok, day #2 as a "blogger."
Thanks for the comments! And thanks Manic for directing some folks my way.
Yes, I am a female, married, kids -2 of them and a pet.
Can I vent for a moment?
I have been displaced! I no longer have an "office" at my office - so, you would think that would be fine because that means I can work from home full time, right? WRONG, well, kind of right..... I can work from home, but, I like my office, I get to see people, communicate, socialize. Now I will only see people if I set appointments and go to them. Am I being crazy? I went into my office today and the "new girl" is sitting at my desk. She's cute..... aren't I supposed to be the "cute, fun, office girl?" I don't know? I like having a "place" to go everyday, it makes me feel important, not that my job is sooooooo important, I don't save lives, or inspire people (actually, I would love to feel like I inspire people). I don't want to save lives though, can you imagine the stress? For those of you that do (save lives), I commend you! I admire you! Maybe I envy you? How do you not become attached? I know I am rambling, but isn't that what blogging is about? So, I am presently in my office - her office, sitting in a chair next to my desk (her desk) - I didn't know she was starting today so my plan for the day has been demolished! I wonder if she knows I am talking about her right now? She mentioned to me that she was not ignoring me (I wasn't even talking to her), but she was typing on her laptop. Oh, you are soooooo important, aren't you? Anyway, that's all for now - am I crazy? I would love to know your comments and please ...SEND ME READERS!!

The First Day...
Okay, so I'm a first time blogger, anyway, where did the term "blogging" come from, it sounds nasty, like "booger!" Not sure how this goes, but I guess I just talk to you - that is "you" out there in the Internet world. I'm not a person with hobbies. I can't fathom scrapbooking, stamping, candle making, all those "pampered parties" you get invited to and feel like you "HAVE TO BUY SOMETHING" just because you are there, and were invited by a friend, maybe just an acquaintance. So, you buy it, whatever "it" is and never use it. It sits in one of your 10 junk drawers in the kitchen, office or whereever. So, anyway.....let's play the guessing game.. Am I a man, woman, straight, gay, married, single, mother, father, careerperson, homemaker, childless?
